Simon Stern

President

Simon Stern is an accomplished professional with an exceptional academic background. He graduated with honors from Brooklyn College, majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Business Management and Finance. With over 7 years in the healthcare industry, Simon excels in financial management. Serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Vita Healthcare, he played a pivotal role in expanding the company from 3 to 16 facilities in Virginia and Maryland. Simon’s influence extends beyond numbers; he established Vita’s corporate office, overseeing every operational facet, from staffing patterns and expense analysis to marketing and analytics. Leveraging his extensive experience, Simon, alongside Aharon, co-founded GreenTree with an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional care while ensuring financial efficiency. Demonstrating a dedication to understanding the frontline experience, Simon consistently visits facilities, embodying the belief that budgets must be shaped by an intimate understanding of each building.

Aharon Stern

CEO

Aharon Stern, a healthcare visionary, embarked on a career to make a difference after graduating in 2014. Focused on impact, he earned an administrator license, starting as an assistant admin at Continuum Health Care Group, gaining valuable experience across multiple facilities in NJ and PA. Joining Vita Healthcare Group, Aharon orchestrated a remarkable turnaround at Luther Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, emphasizing clinical and financial optimization. A revenue-driven leader, Aharon proceeded to Mid Atlantic Healthcare, where he took charge of administration and operations to revitalize a struggling facility in Philadelphia. Adopting a hands-on approach, he led a comprehensive turnaround. Alongside Simon Stern, Aharon transitioned from Vita Healthcare Group to co-found GreenTree Healthcare Management, driven by a vision to establish their company as a premier provider of elderly care nationwide. Passionate about harmonizing financial success with unparalleled resident care, Aharon is devoted to shaping the future of healthcare.

Yosef Mittelman

CFO

Yosef brings over seven years of dedicated experience in healthcare financial management to GreeTree. Yosef’s expertise lies in navigating the complex financial landscape of nursing homes, where he implements tailored financial solutions to address the unique challenges of the industry. He has a proven track record of optimizing revenue streams, managing expenses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining a focus on providing the highest standards of care for residents.

Manny Stern

Regional Director of Operations- Mid Atlantic Region

Manny Stern is a successful nursing home operator with a passion for improving care for seniors. He has risen through the ranks to become Regional Director of Operations and is dedicated to providing a comfortable and holistic lifestyle for his residents. He ensures his staff is well-trained and has a record of successful operations. With over 6 years of experience as a nursing home administrator in NJ, Manny joined GreenTree Management in 2022 as Regional Director of Operations and has been instrumental in driving success at his facilities.

Elazar Fischer

Regional Director of Operations- Midwest Region

Elazar Fischer is a healthcare executive with a strong track record of leadership and operational excellence. He has successfully transitioned over 20 facilities and achieved notable successes, including improving census rates and building a comprehensive team. His key skills and areas of focus include regulatory compliance, team development, and strategic initiatives.

Sharon, Fusco LNHA, LCSW

Regional Director of Operations 

Sharon is a passionate advocate for the elderly and lifelong Rhode Islander. She has a strong foundation in social work, having graduated with honors with both a bachelor's and master's in the field. With 25 years of experience in long-term care, she has dedicated her career to enhancing the lives of seniors. She has held her LNHA for the past four years, and is a certified Eden Mentor, and currently serves on the board of directors for the Rhode Island Health Care Association. For the past decade, Sharon has also been a professor at Rhode Island College, teaching in the Masters of Social Work and Gerontology program. As a goal-driven healthcare administration professional, she specializes in improving processes and maximizing team productivity, all while maintaining a focus on employee motivation, retention, and exceptional resident care.

Cody Phillips

Regional Rehabilitation Director

With over a decade of experience in the long-term care industry, Cody Phillips is a seasoned Regional Rehabilitation Director. He is committed to improving resident outcomes, overall care quality, and employee engagement with expertise in PDPM and Medicaid reimbursement optimization. He has a proven ability to lead teams toward shared objectives while promoting a culture of communication, empathy and mentorship to maximize both individual and collective potential. Cody holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the New England Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Post-Professional Doctorate, focusing on the benefits of long-term care therapy programming in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Tziril Yurman

Regional Director of Admissions & Marketing

As a seasoned healthcare professional with 15 years of experience in the long & short term - care industry, Tziril brings an in depth understanding of clinical, marketing, and operational expertise to drive admissions growth and enhance the overall resident experience in our nursing homes. Her passion is building strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and community partners to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional care for residents.

Etta Goodman

Regional Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator

Etta serves as the Regional MDS Coordinator for GreenTree Healthcare Management, overseeing operations across multiple locations to ensure the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. With over a decade of SNF nursing experience, in both the clinical and MDS aspects, Etta’s passion is improving the quality of care for skilled nursing facility residents.

Angela, Good  BSN, RN, RAC-CT, RAC-CTA

Regional Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator

Angela is the Regional MDS Coordinator for GreenTree Healthcare Management, responsible for overseeing clinical reimbursement across various locations to ensure accurate documentation to display the true clinical complexity of patient care to maintain the highest standards of practice and regulatory compliance. With more than a decade of experience in SNF nursing, both in clinical and MDS, Angela is dedicated to enhancing the quality of care for residents in skilled nursing facilities. She holds a Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified Advanced through the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing.
